Painting "Bride"

"The most dangerous man in a woman's life is her husband," said evolutionary psychology professor Gad Saad. I believe that the opposite could just as easily be true and a wife can be the most dangerous person in a man's life. 

This painting depicts a bride and marriage – something that, at first glance, appears sacred and innocent. I find myself wondering what lies beneath that white veil. An entire psycho-landscape, full of power dynamics and expectations, often unnoticed from the outside.
