Ceramic bowl "TIDE"

Detergent ads promise clean laundry, a fresh start and a tidy home. Behind the promise is a whole picture of the perfect life: the beautiful woman, the spotless house, the happy marriage, happily ever after.

THE PROMISE OF A CLEAN START. THE MESS OF REAL LIFE.

I take the promise of the ad and let it misbehave. Inside: a woman, her knees drawn up behind a box of detergent. Outside: penises, painted all the way around.
